Dear Mama, 3 Tips for Staying Motivated - After
motherhood, I can't deny that sometimes I lose motivation. Losing the
motivation to clean up the mess at home, being lazy to learn new things, and
even feeling lazy several times to take my baby out to play.
I realized that a monotonous routine had already taken over my consciousness. The realization to live the life I've chosen and I should be happy to live it.
Finding motivation to solve this problem is sometimes difficult to do. Moreover, the feeling of burn out has been felt for a long time and has not received help.
Mindfulness Helps to Elaborate on Its Causes
Mindfulness is the consciousness that arises from paying attention intentionally, in the present moment, without judgment.
When my baby was taking a nap, I took a short
break to have a dialogue with myself. Asked how he was doing, and wrote down my
heart on the paper.
All
my heart, the mess in my mind, was channeled through the writing. I did it
fully consciously. I don't put value on my writing or on feelings that have
been revealed.
I
just see the root of this loss of motivation. So, after writing it down
mindfully, is my problem over? Certainly
not.
There are still stages where I try to understand the feelings I have
outlined and find a solution to the solution. Usually I finish by going to a
coffee shop to calm down, going to the rice field area near my house to just
take a breath of fresh air. Often I finish with a warm shower.
